GABA
| |
GABA, gamma-aminobutyric acid, is a “brake pedal” or “calming” brain chemical that is present in large quantities throughout the body. GABA plays a large role in modulating anxiety because its primary action is to slow down neurotransmission. Symptoms of low GABA levels can include increased anxiety, seizures, and sleeplessness while high GABA levels can manifest as loneliness, a sense of being unloved or unworthy, and slowed thinking. |

Generational Imbalances
| |
Generational imbalances occur during a child’s development. While the brain is developing, a child subjected to excessive depression or anxiety; physical, emotional, spiritual or sexual abuse; and/or dysfunctional or divorced families often develops generational brain chemical issues that affect the person well into adulthood. Correcting or compensating for these types of imbalances requires a focus on brain chemicals. |

Genetic Imbalances
| |
A genetic chemical imbalance is similar to a birth defect; you are the first generation that has it. It may or may not be passed off to the next generation through the genes. Correcting or compensating for these types of imbalances requires a focus on brain chemicals. |
