'R' Terms

Referral   A clinician or physician referral refers to that professional’s verbal recommendation that the participant pursue a BMSC plan, granting that participant permission to submit the clinician’s or physician’s e-mail address for purposes of follow-up notification.

Reward Center   This refers to the types of behaviors your brain sees as rewarding. All behaviors are sustained because they provide a reward. There are three categories of reward centers: Arousal, Satiation, or a Combination of both. See “What is a Reward Center?” in the FAQ Section for further detail.

RRI   RRI is an acronym for Robertson Research Institute.
