As a participant, you will be asked to enter the unique LoginID and Password given to you by your clinician.
Once you log on, you will be prompted through an entirely confidential BCOP survey consisting of 180 physiology-based questions and a supplemental personal information survey. After answering all the questions on a given page, click the “Submit Responses” button at the bottom of the page to submit your answers and move on to the next screen of questions. If you have not answered each question on the page, you will be prompted to fill in the missing information before moving forward. If you are unsure of an answer, choose the answer that is true most often. If you don’t think the question has any application to you, answer it “false.” When responding to the questions, base your answer in terms of your behavior within the last year. Once you click "Submit Responses" or "Postpone Remainder" (described below), your responses will be saved and cannot be changed.
If necessary, you can stop and return to finish the BCOP survey at a later time. All submitted responses will be saved when you click the “Postpone Remainder” option located at the bottom of each screen. Once you click on “Postpone Remainder,” you will be automatically logged out of your BCOP survey. Upon returning, it will be necessary to enter your original login information to return to your survey.
Because the Robertson Research Institute works in conjunction with the participant’s clinician to help improve overall health, results will be e-mailed to your clinician within 24 hours after completing the testing process. A follow-up appointment between you and your clinician should be arranged to review your results. All information is identified solely by a personal identification number in compliance with HIPAA confidentiality guidelines and you can be identified only by your health care provider.
Important: The Robertson Research Institute can only verify that a clinician has undergone training in the program. Because we cannot assess competency, the Institute does not endorse any clinician. For more information on a clinician’s credentials, we urge you to contact the appropriate State Licensing Board.
